About the Event
This online offering is intended as a place for the Sangha to gather and connect through the sadhana (applied practice) of breathwork.
Breathwork has been used for thousands of years and comes to us by generations of yogis who've refined the methodologies to support our natural human quest for peace, joy, and happiness. Breathwork has been shown through modern science to enhance the functioning of our nervous system, boost immune system, reduce stress and blood pressure, lower the heart rate, and many other incredible benefits. From an esoteric perspective, it is known to raise the evolutionary energy of Kundalini Shakti and create real and lasting change in the human psyche.
These sessions are for complete beginners, intermediate, or even advanced yogis, as each class will be part discussion and part practice. Discussions will range from explanations on Hatha Yoga techniques of kriya, bandha, mudra, kumbhaka, pranayama, and into to the Tantric Yoga concepts of kundalini, mantra, and other technologies of enlightenment.
The intention of these lessons is to bring this mystical sciences underpinning Breathwork into our daily life, so that we can understand and appreciate the transformative power of this profound modality. My hope is that participants walk away feeling empowered and renewed in their own practices with a deeper understanding and inspiration to continue their healing work on their own.
