"Principles of Hatha Yoga: Asana, Vinyasa & Pranayama" Workshop with Grant
Topics we will cover:
- What is the form and function of authentic spiritual practice? What are we trying to accomplish and how is it supposed to work? How will we know it is effective?
- How Hatha Yoga fits into authentic spirituality
- What are the Yoga Sutras and how do they fit into our discussion?
- What are the principles of practice that promote success and the cultivation of the right qualities and competencies on the path?
- Key features of asana, vinyasa and pranayama and how to execute them for maximum efficiency and efficacy

"Principles of Hatha Yoga: Kriya with Grant" Workshop with Grant
- The mechanics of human spiritual transformation
- Where does “kriya” come from and how to wield them for our growth (referencing the Yoga Sutras and the Hatha Yoga Pradipika).
- Brief introduction to the six main shatkarmas, emphasis on trataka, Kapalbhati and Nauli.
- The three main qualities necessary for evolution (from the Yoga Sutras).
- How Hatha Yoga leads to Raja Yoga, and what these two systems have to say about the overall goal and mission of Yoga and yogic technology.

Puja (Kayleigh)
Puja is a chance to experience a pure, undiluted mantra sadhana in a lineage based "style". Integrate all of the teachings of the day in 90 minutes of straightforward practice.

- Introduction to bandhas and mudras
- The stages of “higher yoga”
- Kundalini - what is it and how does it work?
- What is Prana? What are the nadis? Chakras? Subtle spiritual anatomy and spiritual physiology.
- How to cultivate prana and build the container/vessel for optimal energetics
- Spinal Breathing Pranayama - intro to advanced pranayama practices, how to use all that has been learned and cultivated to enter higher stages of spiritual development
4:00-6:00 PM
"Principles of Hatha Yoga: Pranayama & Meditation" Workshop with Grant
- Steps to Raja Yoga - the highest “stages” of Yoga and yogic spiritual science: Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, Samadhi
- What is enlightenment/ moksha/ liberation/ Self-Realization
- The role of the goal; how to get clear about our path and the steps we must take to achieve
- Spiritual Aspiration and how this fits into ones daily practice

Kirtan & Bhajans
The Kirtans and Bhajans led by Grant emerge from his deep and yet diverse path, from India to Peru to Central America to Europe. The emphasis is always connection to one's own heart and authentic prayer and this event will be a great opportunity to do that, in community, through sacred song and music.
